Women+ in Math and Statistics (WiMS)
Harvard Undergraduate Gender Inclusivity in Math is excited to announce our annual Women+ in Math and Statistics (WiMS) conference! This year’s conference will be held on April 4th, 2026 in the Harvard Science Center. WiMS aims to spotlight the experiences and accomplishments of gender minorities in mathematics and statistics. We welcome all undergraduate and graduate students interested in math and related fields to attend!
WiMS presents a unique opportunity to hear from accomplished speakers and panelists in academia and in industry. The conference features Prof. Judith Lok and Prof. Isabel Vogt as keynote speakers, and includes panels on experiences in academia and industry.
Please submit the RSVP form by March 31 at 11:59 p.m. We’ll send out more information to conference attendees as the conference date approaches. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to harvardundergradgiim@gmail.com with any questions!
Friday, 12/3 · 2:00–3:00 p.m. · SC 507
HUGIIM Town Hall
Hear from a panel of upperclassmen about their experiences in the math department—they’ve collected plenty of anecdotes and advice to share. We also want to hear your ideas about how the math department can create a friendlier environment (which we’ll convey anonymously to the math department faculty). Come with questions, ideas, or just stop by to listen!
Ten One boba will be provided! RSVP so we know how many bobas to get.
